  • D.C. IP Litigation Department of the Year – Latham was once again named the top law firm in Washington, D.C. for intellectual property litigation by the National Law Journal in its 2017 “D.C. • D.C. Rising Stars – The National Law Journal named Environment, Land & Resources partner Stacey VanBelleghem and Intellectual Property Litigation partner Kevin Wheeler to its 2017 Washington, D.C. “Rising Stars” list, which recognizes “the region’s 40 most promising lawyers age 40 and under who have wielded great influence in their practice areas in the D.C. area and beyond.” VanBelleghem and Wheeler are two of a stellar group of young partners in Latham’s Washington, D.C. office who have a strong track record navigating federal courts and Executive Branch departments and agencies.
  • Pro Bono Hot List – In its annual “Pro Bono Hot List” recognizing notable public interest achievements by law firms, the National Law Journal honored Latham for helping US military veterans apply for immigration status for which they are eligible due to their service to the country.
