San Diego partner Jennifer Koh, a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation Practice, has been recognized as a rising star in the San Diego business community in a Top 40 Under 40 feature published by the San Diego Daily Transcript. Ms. Koh was particularly cited in a published profile for combining her science background and legal experience to successfully counsel clients in cutting-edge industries, including the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors. “My science background helps explain the technology behind patents to judges and juries,” she told the Daily Transcript.

Ms. Koh was also recognized for her local community efforts, which include pro bono work with Casa Cornelia Law Center, assisting in asylum cases, and for the National Veterans Legal Services Program, helping US veterans seeking disability benefits. At Latham, she is local Chair of the firm’s Women Enriching Business committee, which addresses the business challenges and opportunities unique to women lawyers and current and prospective female clients.
