September 11, 2019

New York partner and Global Chair of Latham’s Tax Department Jiyeon Lee-Lim is named among a select group of 14 women recognized in a new report by Law360 that honors Influential Women in Tax Law. Those recognized include litigators, policymakers and deal makers and represent the leaders in the field who are “changing the culture” for women in tax.

In a profile article published by Law360, Lee-Lim is recognized for her tax work on several recent high-profile deals, including Spotify’s groundbreaking US$26.5 billion direct listing, T-Mobile’s pending merger with Sprint, and oil field services company Weatherford’s multi-billion dollar restructuring.

Beyond her work advising clients, Lee-Lim is also recognized for her contributions to the tax bar, namely her work to galvanize decade-long efforts to streamline the definition of “public trading” for debt instruments, which led to the publication of new Treasury regulations on this topic.
