  • The restructuring of approximately SAR7.5 billion of indebtedness of Al-Ittefaq Steel Products Company (ISPC). Transaction is the first major corporate debt restructuring in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the largest non-sovereign debt restructuring in the Gulf region.
  • Representation of Rio Tinto in connection with a multi-billion dollar Greenfield project to develop an aluminium smelter in Sarawak, Malaysia, and other Greenfield projects
  • Representation of Norsk Hydro ASA in connection with its acquisition of the majority of Vale SA's aluminum business located in Brazil
  • Advising the mandated lead arrangers in respect of the US$417 million financing of African Minerals Limited’s Tonkolili Iron Ore Project in Sierra Leone
