Latham & Watkins Advises Underwriters in Mastercard Inc.’s US$4 Billion Offerings of Notes

New York capital markets team represented the underwriters in the offerings by the global technology company in the payments industry.

Mastercard Inc. completed an offering of US$1 billion aggregate principal amount of 3.300% notes due 2027, US$1.5 billion aggregate principal amount of 3.350% notes due 2030 and US$1.5 billion aggregate principal amount of 3.850% notes due 2050. The 2027 notes will mature on March 26, 2027, the 2030 notes on March 26, 2030, and the 2050 notes on March 26, 2050. Interest will be paid semiannually in arrears on March 26 and September 26 of each year, beginning September 26, 2020.
