Latham & Watkins Advises Energy Company Seplat plc on US$650 Million Senior Notes Issuance

The deal marks the largest oil and gas offering in Nigeria’s history.

Latham & Watkins advised Seplat Petroleum Development Company Plc (Seplat) on its offering of US$650 million in aggregate principal amount of senior notes due 2026, the largest-ever Nigerian oil and gas bond issuance.

Seplat is Nigeria's leading indigenous energy company. The company is listed on the Premium Board of the Nigerian Stock Exchange and the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange.

The Latham team was led by London corporate partner Jennifer Engelhardt, with associates Yeniva Massaquoi and Tamara Fayad.
