Latham & Watkins advised Silver Lake
Partners on its substantial minority investment into IVC Evidensia group (IVC),
the leading European veterinary care provider. As part of the transaction IVC’s
largest shareholder, EQT Private Equity, is also making a substantial
investment through its EQT IX fund; and Nestlé, an existing minority
shareholder, is increasing its minority stake in the group. The aggregated new
investment from the expanded partnership transaction totals €3.5 billion and
values IVC at an enterprise value of approximately €12.3 billion.
As a leading global technology investment
firm, Silver Lake’s new substantial minority investment in IVC will help further
unlock growth from digital and technology opportunities.
