Latham Advises TA Associates on the Sale of a Significant Minority Stake in IFS and WorkWave

Latham & Watkins has advised TA Associates on the sale of a significant minority stake in software vendors IFS and WorkWave to Hg, a leading software and services investor.

Long-term investor EQT remains the majority shareholder in IFS and WorkWave, with Hg and TA Associates as significant minority shareholders, in a transaction valuing IFS and WorkWave at US $10 billion.

The transaction is subject to customary conditions and approvals and is expected to close during Q3 2022.

The Latham team was led by London corporate partner Paul Dolman, with London corporate associate Gillian Bourke. Advice was provided on antitrust matters by London litigation associate Mark Wagh; and on regulatory matters by London corporate partner Nicola Higgs.
