Latham & Watkins Signs the German Diversity Charter

By signing the German Diversity Charter (Charta der Vielfalt), Latham & Watkins LLP endeavors to set an example for diversity in business culture. As a proponent of this nationwide network for diversity management in Germany, Latham is proud to support the Charta der Vielfalt’s mission to recognize, appreciate, and integrate diversity in business culture. 

“Diversity & Inclusion has long been a part of Latham's culture. We are honored to sign the Diversity Charter, reinforcing our commitment and dedication to supporting inclusive working environments at Latham and in broader society,” said Harald Selzner, Managing Partner of Latham & Watkins in Germany.

The Charta der Vielfalt is a corporate initiative to promote diversity in companies and institutions. It was initiated in December 2006 by four companies and is supported by State Minister Annette Widmann-Mauz, the Commissioner for the Federal Government for Migration, Refugees, and Integration. 

The initiative aims to develop working environments in Germany free of biases where all employees are valued regardless of gender, nationality, ethnic origin, religion or worldview, physical ability, age, sexual orientation, and identity.
