Latham & Watkins Advises Initial Purchasers in Constellium’s Sustainability-Linked Notes Offering

Cross-border team represented the initial purchasers in the first sustainability-linked notes offering in the metals sector.

Constellium SE, a global sector leader that develops innovative, value added aluminum products for a broad scope of markets and applications, including aerospace, automotive and packaging, closed its private offering of US$500 million of US dollar denominated sustainability-linked senior unsecured notes due 2029 on February 24, 2021.

Latham & Watkins LLP represented the initial purchasers in the offering with a capital markets team led by New York partners Keith Halverstam and Benjamin Stern and Paris partner Roberto Luis Reyes Gaskin, with New York associates Gemma Mootoo Rajah, Giulia Franzoso, Egzon Sulejmani, and Russell Mendelson. Advice was also provided on tax matters by New York partner Jiyeon Lee-Lim, with New York associate Michael Syku.
