Latham & Watkins Advises PAI Partners and BCI in Connection with the Sale of Refresco to KKR

London corporate team represents the existing investors in the transaction.

Latham & Watkins has advised PAI Partners and British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI) in connection with the sale of a majority stake in Refresco, one of the world’s largest independent beverage contract manufacturers, to KKR, a leading global investment firm. As part of the transaction, PAI Partners and BCI will retain a significant minority position in Refresco.

Founded in 1999, Refresco has pan-regional coverage in Europe and North America through its network of bottling, warehousing, logistics and other operational assets. Its production platform includes over 70 majority-owned manufacturing sites in Europe, the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

The Latham team was led by London corporate partner Tom Evans, with London corporate associates Maarten Overmars, Alex McCarney, and Chris Cox.
