Profile Experience

Bryce Schunke is counsel in the New York office of Latham & Watkins. Mr. Schunke is a member of the Finance Department and the Banking Practice. Mr. Schunke represents financial institutions and corporate borrowers in leveraged finance transactions, with a particular focus on acquisition financings and cross-border transactions.

Mr. Schunke received his JD from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served on the submissions review board of the Virginia Journal of International Law and as articles editor of the Virginia Law Review. Before law school, Mr. Schunke served as a wildland firefighter and helicopter rappeller with the United States Forest Service.

  • Citigroup as lead arranger of US$1.32 billion senior secured first and second lien term loan and ABL facilities in connection with the acquisition of Del Monte Foods, Inc.
  • JP Morgan as lead arranger of US$2.35 billion senior secured term loan and revolving credit facilities to La Quinta Holdings Inc. in conjunction with La Quinta’s initial public offering
  • Deutsche Bank as lead arranger of US$750 million incremental senior secured term loan facilities in connection with The Hertz Corporation’s acquisition of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc.
