Amber Ashley James is an associate in the Century City office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Litigation & Trial Department.

Ms. James received her JD from Harvard Law School and her MBA from Harvard Business School. While attending law school, she served as editor-in-chief of the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review, an organizer with the Harvard Prison Divestment Campaign, and as a student attorney with the HLS Criminal Justice Institute.

Prior to joining Latham full-time, Ms. James was a summer associate in the Century City office. Before attending graduate school, Ms. James worked for education startups in Beijing, and as an investment banking analyst for Morgan Stanley in New York.
