Daniel Machado is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins.
Mr. Machado primarily handles healthcare regulatory and Food & Drug Administration (FDA) regulatory matters involving healthcare providers as well as pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and digital health companies. In particular, he advises clients on healthcare and FDA regulatory, compliance, and business considerations.
In addition to his healthcare and life sciences practice, Mr. Machado advises clients across multiple industries on compliance with current federal, state, and international privacy and cybersecurity laws and regulations.
Mr. Machado also maintains an active pro bono practice, primarily representing clients in asylum matters as well as advising nonprofit organizations in legislative drafting and advocacy with the D.C. Council.
Mr. Machado earned his JD from Northwestern University School of Law, graduating with honors. He was a staff editor of the Northwestern Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property, a member of OUTLaw, and a member of the Latino Law Student Association.
