Darren Jackson is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Public Company Representation and Capital Markets Practices.

Mr. Jackson’s practice focuses on general company representation, private and public securities offerings, and securities regulation. Mr. Jackson also counsels public companies regarding their public reporting obligations, corporate governance matters, and other issues related to public company status.

Mr. Jackson’s transactional experience includes representation of clients across the technology, manufacturing, and financial industries in high-stakes securities offerings and regulatory compliance. He has experience representing both issuers and underwriters in:

  • High-yield and investment-grade debt offerings
  • Primary and secondary equity offerings
  • Initial Public Offerings
  • Add-on transactions and shelf offerings

Prior to joining Latham, Mr. Jackson was an associate in the New York office of an international law firm and served as a law clerk to the Senate Judiciary Committee. He earned his JD from Columbia Law School, where he was an editor of the Journal of Transnational Law and served as a Mediation Clinic Teaching Assistant.
