David Ajalat is an associate in the Corporate Department of Latham & Watkins' Century City office.

Mr. Ajalat represents emerging companies, entrepreneurs, and venture capital and private equity funds in a broad range of industries, including software, digital media and entertainment, sports, mobile, consumer Internet, virtual reality, gaming, cleantech, and fintech. 

Mr. Ajalat advises startup companies throughout their lifecycle, from formation and financings through exit planning. He also regularly represents venture capital, private equity firms, and strategic acquirers in connection with their investments and M&A transactions. Additionally, Mr. Ajalat is an adjunct professor of law at the University of Southern California Law School, teaching a course on venture capital.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Ajalat worked with two other leading law firms in Santa Monica and San Francisco/Silicon Valley.
