Elena Yeung is an associate in the Hong Kong office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Corporate Department.

Ms. Yeung’s practice focuses on cross-border M&A, capital market transactions, and compliance with Hong Kong’s Listing Rules.

Prior to joining Latham, Ms. Yeung was an associate at a leading international law firm.

 


Ms. Yeung's recent experience includes advising:

  • Vingroup Joint Stock Company on the joint venture between Vincommerce, a consumer retail unit of Vingroup which operates supermarkets, convenience stores, and farms, and Masan Consumer to create VCM Services and Trading Development Joint Stock Company, a Vietnam-based vertically integrated retail business.
  • Sinotrans Limited, the largest integrated logistics service provider in China and dual-listed on HKEx and Shanghai Stock Exchange, in its 100% acquisition of KLG Europe, a leading logistics solutions provider in Europe, in a two-step acquisition for a total consideration of no more than €385.7 million. KGL Europe consists of seven operating entities in the Netherlands, Romania, and the UK.
  • CITIC Capital and FountainVest in their acquisition of a 55% stake in China Merchants Loscam International Holdings Co., Limited from HK-listed Sinotrans.
  • CITIC Capital China Partner on its acquisition of Axilone, a France-based manufacturer of premium plastic and metal packaging for global cosmetics, perfume, and beauty care brands.
