Erin Hallagan is an associate in the San Diego office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Litigation & Trial Department.

Ms. Hallagan primarily handles complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on policyholder representation in high-stakes insurance coverage litigation.

Ms. Hallagan represents clients in connection with insurance coverage and bad faith disputes, including claims for coverage under commercial general liability, errors and omissions, products, D&O, and business interruption policies.

Ms. Hallagan also has experience representing clients in securities class action suits.

In addition, Ms. Hallagan maintains an active pro bono practice, primarily representing clients in compassionate release, immigration, and guardianship cases.

Before joining Latham, Ms. Hallagan served as a law clerk to Judge James V. Selna of the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

While attending law school, she served as co-editor in chief for the Women’s Law Journal, discourse editor for the UCLA Law Review, and co-chair of the El Centro Legal U-Visa/VAWA Clinic.

Before attending law school, Ms. Hallagan was a bilingual legal advocate for survivors of domestic violence in Chicago.
