Giuditta Caldini is an associate in the Brussels office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Global Antitrust & Competition Practice.
Ms. Caldini advises clients on complex cases involving all areas of EU competition law, including abuse of dominance, restrictive practices, merger control, and state aid. She assists clients with obtaining merger clearances for their strategic transactions and acts for defendants and plaintiffs in connection with abuse of dominance investigations and anticompetitive practices. In her cartel defense practice, she advises on investigations by the European Commission and national competition authorities, as well as related appellate proceedings.
Ms. Caldini advises companies active in a wide range of industries, in particular the technology, life sciences, telecoms, and consumer goods sectors.
Prior to joining Latham, Ms. Caldini worked as an associate at another global law firm in Brussels.
