Kehaulani R. Jai is an associate in the Litigation & Trial Department of the Orange County office of Latham & Watkins.

Ms. Jai represents public and private companies and their officers, directors, and special committees in complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on securities litigation.

Ms. Jai’s work includes:

  • Shareholder derivative litigation
  • RICO actions
  • Section 220 books-and-records demands
  • Mergers and acquisitions litigation and diligence
  • SEC enforcement actions

Ms. Jai maintains an active pro bono practice focused on representing veterans seeking medical, retirement, and other benefits. These representations are part of the National Veterans Legal Services Program’s Lawyers Serving Warriors project.

Ms. Jai received her JD from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. While in law school, she served as research assistant for criminal law professor Avani Mehta Sood, and interned at East Bay Community Law Center.

Ms. Jai was a member of the California Law Review, the Asian American Law Journal, and Christians at Berkeley Law.

Ms. Jai is a global leader of Latham’s Native American Lawyers Group, and a Public Law Center Advocate.
