Mathilde Saltiel is a partner in Latham & Watkins' Paris office and a member of the firm’s Global Antitrust & Competition Practice. She primarily advises on EU and French competition law.
Ms. Saltiel represents international companies before the European Commission and the French competition authority in merger control proceedings and cartel investigations, and coordinates multijurisdictional merger filings for global transactions. Her main areas of practice embrace merger control, anticompetitive agreements, and abuse of dominant position. She also advises clients in the context of private damages actions. Ms. Saltiel advises clients active in a broad range of industries including telecoms, financial services, and energy.
Moreover, she has professional experience in both French and international law firms as well as in the legal department of an American company. Ms. Saltiel co-authored several articles in the Concurrences review and in the Semaine Juridique (Legal Weekly).
