Michaela Cotton is a member of the Litigation & Trial Department, focusing on healthcare litigation.

Ms. Cotton assists clients, such as large hospital systems, with various matters, including internal investigations, responding to government subpoenas, and analyzing potential self-disclosures.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Cotton served as a law clerk for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California.

While in law school, Ms. Cotton served as an editor for the Journal of Law and Public Policy, president of the Society of Wine and Jurisprudence, and treasurer of the Public Interest Law Union.
