Salar Alambeigi is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Antitrust & Competition Practice. Mr. Alambeigi advises clients on antitrust matters relating to mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other business combinations. Mr. Alambeigi's practice also includes general antitrust advisory work, competition law compliance, and cartel investigations.

Mr. Alambeigi’s recent experience includes:

  • Advising The Carlyle Group on its acquisition of a 35% stake in CEPSA
  • Advising iZettle on the CMA’s Phase II-investigation of PayPal’s acquisition of iZettle
  • Representing Viasat in its appeal of Ofcom’s authorization of ground-based stations operated Inmarsat Ventures Limited before the Court of Appeal
  • Advising clients on potential complaints in relation to exclusionary abuses of a dominant position
  • Advising The Carlyle Group on its joint acquisition of the Weiman Group
  • Representing a major airline in civil claims in the English High Court for damages in the global Air Cargo Cartel
  • Advising One Equity Partners on its acquisition of the Walterscheid Powertrain business
  • Advising a variety of clients on issues of competition law compliance, including development of compliance policies, procedures and training
  • Advising a consortium led by Blackstone and CVC Capital Partners on its offer for Paysafe Group Plc
