Seth Appiah-Opoku is a corporate associate in the Boston office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice. 

Mr. Appiah-Opoku advises public and private life sciences companies on various commercial and intellectual property transactions including:

  • Commercial licenses
  • Licenses with universities, hospitals, and non-profit entities
  • Collaboration agreements
  • Manufacturing, supply, and distribution arrangements

Mr. Appiah-Opoku has experience advising on IP-related issues in initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, and mergers and acquisitions.

While attending law school, Mr. Appiah-Opoku served as a senior staff editor of the Food and Drug Law Journal and externed with the US International Trade Commission’s Office of Unfair Import Investigations. Prior to law school, he worked as an intern in the CDC’s Office of Technology and Innovation.
