Sheridan Caldwell is an associate in the San Francisco office of Latham & Watkins.
Ms. Caldwell rejoins Latham after a clerkship with Judge Richard C. Tallman of the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
She represents major companies in complex commercial litigation and competition-related matters. As part of her pro bono practice, Ms. Caldwell has represented individuals seeking asylum and veterans with disabilities.
Ms. Caldwell received her JD from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, where she was a notes editor for the Northwestern University Law Review and won the Lowden-Wigmore Prize for best Note published in the Northwestern University Law Review.
During law school, Ms. Caldwell externed for Judge Marvin E. Aspen of the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She also worked as a student attorney for the MacArthur Justice Center in the Civil Rights Litigation Clinic and as a legal intern for the ACLU of Illinois.
