William (Bill) Nahill is an associate in the Chicago office of Latham & Watkins.
Mr. Nahill has vast transactional experience representing public and private companies, including private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, in a wide range of US and cross-border matters, including:
- Public and private mergers and acquisitions, including leveraged buyouts, “take-private” transactions, carve-outs, and other M&A transactions
- Corporate reorganizations and restructurings
- Joint ventures and minority investments
- Shareholder activism and takeover defense
- Corporate governance and strategic matters
Mr. Nahill maintains an active pro bono practice that includes assisting Illinois prisoners with clemency petitions.
Mr. Nahill was a James Kent scholar at Columbia Law School and graduated with Dean’s honors from Columbia Business School. Mr. Nahill served as senior financial editor for the Columbia Business Law Review.
Prior to joining Latham, Mr. Nahill was a corporate associate at a leading international law firm.
