Zaal Cama is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Corporate Department.

Mr. Cama handles a broad range of corporate matters, including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and general corporate matters.

Prior to qualification, Mr. Cama spent two years training in the firm’s London office, gaining a variety of experience in corporate, investment fund formation, leveraged finance, and project finance transactions.

Mr. Cama’s experience includes advising:

  • Awaze, a Platinum Equity portfolio company, on the sale of Landal Greenparks, a fully integrated holiday parks owner, operator and exclusive franchisor in continental Europe, to Roompot, a KKR portfolio company
  • Astorg Partners on the acquisition of Opus 2, a legal technology provider 
  • Blackstone and CVC Capital Partners on the merger of Paysafe with Foley Trasimene Acquisition Corp. II, a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) founded and led by Bill Foley
  • CVC Capital Partners on the acquisition of 90.01% of Ethniki Insurance from National Bank of Greece
  • Permira on the acquisition of Quotient Sciences, a provider of CDMO and CRO services to pharma and biotech companies, and on the bolt-on acquisition of Arcinova, the UK based multiservice CDMO provider, by Quotient
  • CVC Capital Partners on the sale of a 30% stake in Domestic & General Group, a UK-based provider of warranty and product protection services, to Abu Dhabi Investment Authority
  • Onex Partners V on its investment in Convex Group Limited, a specialty property and casualty insurance company headquartered in Bermuda
  • Helios Investment Partners and TA Associates on the sale of a minority stake in Interswitch, a Nigeria-based digital payments providers, to Visa
  • Young’s Seafood in connection with its sale to Karro Food Group
